As he was designing this set, Mike was especially thoughtful about how tattooers would ultimately place each design. He included a combination of vertically-oriented designs for narrow parts of the body, as well as wider images perfects for back or chest pieces. Giving you even more options, many animals have more than one option for profile, 3/4, or front-facing views.
As with all Tattoo Smart flash sets, Animal Crackers Vol. 1 works well on its own, and becomes increasingly useful when paired with the other sets to increase the variety and depth of your neo-traditional digital tattoo design toolkit.

Yokai, Gods, Supernatural Creatures, and Demons. The stuff legends are made of...
Following the incredible feedback from the Tattoo Smart community to his first volume of Japanese flash designs, Elliott Wells was inspired to create Japanese Vol. 5: Mythology. Within the set, Elliott explores the spirits, monsters, gods, and other supernatural beings from Japanese folklore and mythology. From mischievous imps to malevolent demons, Elliott included a range of figures that encompass both well-known tattoo subjects as well as less common options, giving you both immediate utility in the set and inspiration for future designs.
Like his first set, Elliott's designs are rooted in the aesthetic traditions of irezumi, but represent years of his own style development, informed by horror tattoos and Neo-Japanese designs. His take on popular tattoo options like Hannya masks, Foo dogs, and Phoenixes is complex and thoughtfully composed to be used in large or small formats. By exploring deeper into the legendary and supernatural beings of Japanese folklore with yokai like Bakezori, Hone-onna, and Kasa-obake, as well as legendary animals like kitsune, kirin, and basan, Elliott gives you a range of imagery to include in your designs. As with all of the sets in the Tattoo Smart Japanese collection, this set works well on its own, and becomes increasingly useful when paired with the other sets to increase the variety and depth of your Japanese digital tattoo design toolkit.

Featuring imagery focused on Nordic and Greek mythology, predatory animals, birds, and powerful humans, Eddie’s brush set includes a wide variety of chaotic blackwork stamp designs. Use the male and female profile stamps as a starting point for your design, adding headdresses, weapons, and symbolic and natural elements. The variations of hands and fists make adding notoriously difficult to draw elements more efficient. Tools of Chaos also includes chaotic mark making brushes you can use to give your tattoo designs the look of controlled disarray that exemplifies this style.

Use them together with the other elements in the set to develop tattoos that aesthetically capture the chaotic spirit of the mythology.

Tattooers working in nearly any style will find Lady Fingers incredibly useful.
In his tattoo design process, Killian uses digital construction tools like these, and the ones in his Great Head and Essentials toolkits, to model and compose elements. In order to exactly capture how a hand looking holding an object or the expressiveness of a hand gesture, he often found himself needing to take his own photos for reference. Building on that process, he created this library of nearly any hand pose you may need for your tattoo designs. In the eBook, Killian paired each hand stamp with the original photo reference.
No more hiding hands behind the backs of pinups or fingers accidentally missing a knuckle. Lady Fingers includes anatomical construction lines to help you understand where to shade your tattoo or where each joint bends when a hand is grasping an object. Popular tattoo requests like praying hands or a hand holding a stiletto are also included.

Ladies First

Designed by Cory Clubs of Heart of Gold Tattoo (@coryclubs)
What’s inside
- OG Traditional-style lady head designs
- Mashups and morphs that blend popular elements
- Reimagined designs that expand the range of lady head tattoo possibilities
More info
Cory Clubs likes to make tattoos that look like tattoos, but not ones that necessarily make real-world sense. As much as he is inspired by American traditional style and themes, in his words, his brain "won't let him draw like that," so his flash set reflects interesting combinations, weird morphs and mashups, and a heavily stylized take on classic lady head tattoos.Who doesn't appreciate a pretty lady tattoo? And if you can make one using other elements you love, it's even better. That's how Cory approaches his tattoo designs and his designs for flash set. Ladies First is both immediately useful and incredibly inspiring. In the set, you will find 100 flash designs ready to sell to clients. Add them to your Procreate library for visual inspiration during consultations or render the designs to book via social media. Cory primarily hopes that the tattoo community is inspired by his flash to take chances when they draw tattoos, and to continue pushing the boundaries of neo-traditional tattoo design.Ladies First is foremost a set of tattoo flash that is soundly designed but that sidesteps the rules in order to be more interesting and just plain fun. Cory hopes the next time your client requests a lady head tattoo, you can convince them to get a little bit weird with it. After all, according to him, "the worst thing a client can get is exactly what they asked for."

You can quickly find line drawings of the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and National guard symbols, ready to tattoo straight out of your digital toolkit.Recognizing the common themes and imagery among the military and memorial tattoos he’s done for clients over the years, Izzy also included a deep catalog of elements to combine for specific requests. Battle crosses, dog tags, cemeteries, and tombstones can be incorporated to memorialize your client’s loved one. Weapons like rifles, rockets, grenades, and cartridges can add be used to commemorate your client’s service in defense or their interest in firearms. Other military symbols like eagles, paratroopers, anchors, and flags can add patriotic variation to custom projects.Particularly popular amongst black and gray or realism requests, iconic imagery can be used to add depth and background, or in the foreground in negative space, and is used to contextualize the other symbols in the tattoo design. Izzy included silhouettes of that iconic imagery, like 21 gun salutes, raising the flag at Iwo Jima, jungle/desert/cityscapes, the Twin Towers in profile, and military vehicles like tanks, carriers, and helicopters. He also included other scenic and accessory elements for other styles of tattoos, like frames, skulls, banners, bullet holes, reapers, and skin rips. Given the range of official symbols, commonly requested images, and background/accessory elements, U.S. Military Vol. 1 will quickly become your go-to toolkit for one of the most popular tattoo themes. Brazilian tattooer Frann Rocha is a student of world cultures, and particularly the ornamentation used throughout history to create decorative arts. From detailed textiles to protective and prayerful chalk art in doorways to homes, ornamental patterns and motifs have been used to both symbolize deeper meaning as well as to bring beauty to otherwise ordinary objects. Ornamentals V1 and V2 are incredibly versatile toolkits of flash stamp designs, giving you modern interpretations for your ornamental tattoo designs.Unsurprisingly, as tattoos became more commonplace, these symbols, with or without the specific cultural meaning, were used to decorate the body, bringing a similarly adorned aesthetic. In recent years, ornamental tattoos have risen in popularity, from complex, fine-line mendhi and henna-inspired tattoos to large scale, bold linework designs. Frann Rocha enjoys tattooing ornamental designs across the spectrum, and created these Ornamental flash sets to give you a wide variety of patterns and designs to use in your own work.Used for large or small scale tattoos, symmetrical or more naturally flowing, Frann was inspired by Near Eastern cultural elements and created toolkits based around ornamental flowers and floral elements. The mandalas and mandala flowers are stencil-ready or can be used with the ornamental frames or spirals to compose larger tattoo designs. The boteh and kolam designs in the set reference more a specific ornamental aesthetic, celebrating the influence of decorative arts on this style of tattooing.
