Buyer Beware: 3D functionality was released for Procreate version 5.2. That means that in theory these files should work on any iPad that can run at least iPadOS 14.4. The latest version of Procreate requires iPadOS 16.3 or newer: iPad Pro: 2015 and newer Standard iPad: 2017 and newer iPad Air: 2019 and newer iPad mini: 2019 and newer I have the 4th gen iPad Pro which was released in 2020 and these files work great for me. So if you are running a very old iPad, these files may not work for you. I am really glad I upgraded to these 3D body part models from the old ones I was using. The detail and shape (pose) of each model is excellent and most importantly, having multiple selections of size for both male and female is really helpful. If you have never used a 3D body part, I definitely recommend these for any tattoo artists using procreate! I plan out many of my projects on these models and it really helps me think through the flow and positioning beforehand and gives me a decent idea of what my flat design will look like when it wraps so that I can adjust dimensions and position accordingly. Once I have a tracing of my clients sleeve using press and seal, I have been able to successfully line up the elbow and ditch of my tracing to the 3D model to give me a fairly precise representation of the clients sleeve. 10/10!
Not worth the 60 bucks the designs glitch out on the three view models, and will warp in an unnatural way on the models that wouldn’t really happen on the human body. So I ended up being very unhelpful. I do only large scale projects so I thought this would be huge for my design process, but I’m still just using pictures of models now instead of this product because it works better. Tattoo smart. I give three stars overall they have a few good products that I like that I bought from them, but this specific product is a one star haven’t used it once for $60.
This is so sick! It’s a fun way to visualize and design my personal tattoo ideas. Definitely a game changer!
