Izzy, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and 12 year tattooer, is particularly familiar with the symbols and icons representing the US military, and what they mean to the clients who have collected these tattoos since the earliest days of tattooing in America. In U.S. Military Vol. 1, Izzy created a flash set of Procreate stamps useful for both walk-in tattoos and custom requests. He included the official emblems and logos for the branches of the U.S. Military. You can quickly find line drawings of the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and National guard symbols, ready to tattoo straight out of your digital toolkit.Recognizing the common themes and imagery among the military and memorial tattoos he’s done for clients over the years, Izzy also included a deep catalog of elements to combine for specific requests. Battle crosses, dog tags, cemeteries, and tombstones can be incorporated to memorialize your client’s loved one. Weapons like rifles, rockets, grenades, and cartridges can add be used to commemorate your client’s service in defense or their interest in firearms. Other military symbols like eagles, paratroopers, anchors, and flags can add patriotic variation to custom projects.Particularly popular amongst black and gray or realism requests, iconic imagery can be used to add depth and background, or in the foreground in negative space, and is used to contextualize the other symbols in the tattoo design. Izzy included silhouettes of that iconic imagery, like 21 gun salutes, raising the flag at Iwo Jima, jungle/desert/cityscapes, the Twin Towers in profile, and military vehicles like tanks, carriers, and helicopters. He also included other scenic and accessory elements for other styles of tattoos, like frames, skulls, banners, bullet holes, reapers, and skin rips. Given the range of official symbols, commonly requested images, and background/accessory elements, U.S. Military Vol. 1 will quickly become your go-to toolkit for one of the most popular tattoo themes. After its original release in 2019, Watch & Compass quickly became one of the most popular Procreate toolkits on Tattoo Smart, saving tattooers thousands of hours endlessly designing one of the most requested tattoo themes in recent years. Matt updated this set in 2020 to optimize it for the latest Procreate settings, added another compass rose face, and included the Scout and Navigator compasses with that compass rose inlaid. After hearing the feedback from Procreate users about challenges using the chain repeater brushes and the “stepped” effect that can occur, Matt also created 5 stamped options for each chain style. The stamped chains give you smoother options to use when you need a short section of chain or to layer with other elements.Matt Brumelow created Watch & Compass to make your design process faster and save you from drawing endless concentric circles and ovals, while giving you enough flexibility to customize each tattoo for your client. To help you get started, he included stamps to create both flat and angled perspective designs. Select a pocket watch frame, then add a watch face, numerals, hands, topper, chain and clasp to quickly create thousands of variations of watches. Matt included both modern and vintage design elements to fit the style of pocket watch your client requests.Client changed their mind and wants a compass now? Matt’s created scout and navigator compass stamps, each with angled variations on perspective, as well as compass roses, to quickly compose smaller tattoos or draft elements of larger compositions. The Watch & Compass set includes extra related brushes, like a stop watch register to use with the pocket watch frame, individual and complete watch gears, and hour glasses in illustrative, realism, and neo-traditional styles.

Tattoo Smart is proud to bring you Waves, developed by Grime and Luke Stewart, two people who have spent combined decades learning, perfecting, and stylizing the illustration of Japanese finger waves in tattoo designs.
Waves is a masterclass in visual information, from the individual components to complete designs on templates, that you can use to absorb the compositional guidelines and details that make well-illustrated finger waves immediately recognizable. The brush set includes water flow templates to map your wave directions, as well as line work and rendered designs showing how Luke and Grime would use the water flow and wave templates to work with the body's anatomical shapes.
As Japanese tattoo design became increasingly stylized, the wave designs took on variations that Luke and Grime included in this set to enable you to select the best option for your tattoo design. Traditional waves, with simplified and rounded shapes, and two variations of more complex hybrid waves, with both round and sharp points, can all be used with the water flow templates and any other subjects or elements in your designs.

A smooth sea never made a skilled tattooer...
From master lettering artist BJ Betts comes 100 Words to the Wise. Well-known for his hand-lettered designs and tattoos, this collection of lettering flash stamps includes classic idioms, informal quotes, and common customer requests.
BJ Betts' collection of how-to's and tools is comprehensive, starting with his eBook series Lettering Guides 1 - 5, the Penmanship brush and stamp set, and now his Words to the Wise flash set. After spending decades tattooing and teaching, BJ has now made these tutorials and digital tools available to you to study the fundamentals of creating illustrated lettering tattoos in a broad range of styles.
Use the Words to the Wise Procreate stamps as stencil-ready flash to tattoo as-is or quickly incorporate into requests for months and dates, or a wide range of common lettering tattoo words and phrases. BJ included designs in his signature flourish-adorned script, less ornate brush script, Old English and beveled letters, horror and grittier fonts, and more. He drew each word or phrase with the meaning in mind, considering the meaning in his choice of type styling, and in some cases the addition of imagery to spice it up or enhance the design. The diversity expressed within this collection should inspire any artist viewing the designs with a wide range of approaches both stylistically and thematically.
You can also use these flash designs to practice drawing and develop the muscle memory of shapes, how to connect letters, spacing, and adding flourishes. Many of the designs in the set feature more than one font, allowing you a look into how BJ has made choices about how to combine lettering styles within a single design to highlight or create visual distinction amongst words.
